PhD student in computational neuroscience. Since 2015, I am part of the IMPRS for Neural Circuits. Before I studied physics and mathe- matics at University Freiburg. I study theoretical and computational models of local cortical circuits. The same year I attended OpenCon. And gave a short presentation.
8203;I am a Sir Henry Wellcome Fellow. At the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics, University of Oxford. My current work with Professor Andy King examines the neural code for speech recognition as well as sequence learning and generalization. My long-term research goal is to understand how the brain learns and acquires knowledge about the sensory world and transfers it to novel experiences. I have been endorsed by the Royal Society.
